This week for Donna's #LivingArrows linkie I am sharing some photos from the weekend away we have just had... because I decided to book a short break away for my little family as my husband has the whole weekend off (something that very rarely happens outside of pre-booked holidays!) We had a fabulous time in Kent, staying at a Parkdean holiday park and enjoying some time together as a family.

We were relatively lucky with the weather so we decided to make the most of it and do a day out on Saturday. Of course because Squidgy is obsessed with all things animal related, and Little L is too young to join in the decision making process, we decided to go to a local farm park, which was pretty awesome.

Squidgy

It isn't hard to please Squidgy, unless she is one of "those" moods, but they are few and far between. Obviously getting outdoors and exploring a farm filled with animals large and small was right up her street, so it was hard to choose just one photo of her from the day. She was so excited, even more so that she had daddy with her to join her on her little adventure.

Little L

Our youngest daughter is growing up way too quickly. In the past, a walk around anywhere would be enough to lull her to sleep, but not these days! She spent the whole day leaning to see what was going on and reaching to be pulled out of her Doona and have a look around. The smiles she gave (mostly aimed at her excited sister!) throughout the day made my heart swell. It's so nice that she is able to enjoy a family day out just as much as the rest of us!
