My Photo of the Week // Living Arrows 30/52

Today's post for Donna's Living Arrows linkie is one of my most loved photos to date of my toddler. Squidgy has always been very stubborn, and certainly knows her own mind. In that way she is very like me, which often means that we butt heads. Sometimes though, it can just be super cute, like in this photo.

After a morning where she had insisted on one thing after another, incuding chosing a night gown as her dress for the day, I was dreading sorting out her lunch. When she is in one of "those" moods, she can be super fussy about food. It was actually not as bad as I thought, however. She ate loads and I was really pleased.

She then pointed out the last slice of chocolate gateaux asking to have, "cake and coffee" for pudding. She is definitely her daddy's daughter! I laughed and let her have some, and she sat and ate and drank without saying a word. I don't think I've ever known her to be so quiet!
