Treating Mama | MamaMe Box Review | Me Becoming Mum

I was lucky enough to receive MamaMe's January subscription box, and the final message from the mama behind the brand in our emails was, "enjoy treating yourself mama!" and enjoy myself I did!

My initial reaction upon opening the packaging, was to smile. The effort that had been made in adding a little bow, with tags and branding was lovely to see. When I opened the box, the soft, happy colours that greeted me gave me an almost immediate glow inside - it felt as if whatever I would find inside was bound to cheer me up.

Inside January's Mama Me box is a lovely selection of items, including a pack of inspiration cards from The Native State, a Wish Upon a String 'You Got This Mama' bracelet, a pot of Kokoso Baby coconut oil, a Squirrel Sister's raspberry ripple bar, and a Hobo Soy Candle.

The first item I looked at was The Native State inspiration cards. They are so unique, and beautifully made; and the quotes included certainly live up to their name - they are inspirational!

They are also beautiful. Some are monochrome but others are brightly coloured  - but all of them made me feel wonderful as I read through them.

Also inside the January box, was a pot of the coconut oil from Kokoso Baby... and I'm not going to lie, I have totally used it for me and R as well as Little L.

I'm not really a massive fan of coconut as a general rule, but this product has surprised me, because I really do love it.

This gorgeous bracelet from Wish Upon a String is such a beautiful addition to the Mama Me box.

It's cute, easy to wear, will go with any  outfit and  has such a lovely sentiment! I absolutely love mine, and I am still wearing it - I've not broken it yet!

I love the Hobo Soy Candle that is the final item inside my Mama Me Box.

I love candles. There is something soothing about the flickering of the flame, and when they are scented they are even better.

This candle has a lovely subtle smell, which is beautiful and not overpowering making it lovely to light in order to eliminate smells without gagging at the smell!

I have really enjoyed treating myself with these lovely items inside my Mama Me box... relaxing, unwinding and reminding myself that I matter too. Being a mama is not an easy job - even if it is totally worth it - and we all need to make sure that we take a little time out for ourselves, so that we can continue to be the best that we can be when we are raising our mini humans.

Although you can find Mama Me on multiple social media platforms, it is worth making sure that you are following their Instagram account where you can see all the updates and get the first glimpse of what is included inside the box each month.

I have loved seeing their posts pop up when I am scrolling through my Instagram news feed; and it has made me fall even more in love with their brand. Like me, they are supporting other small businesses with the items they include - and there is nothing better in my mind! If you follow them, it is also a perfect opportunity to check out these small businesses that Mama Me works with!

If you decide, like I did, that you love the awesome small business items that are included in this monthly mama box, then you should pop over to Mama Me's website where you can purchase a single box, or a three, six, or twelve month subscription.

You can also send a box as a gift - so if you know a mama who needs a pick-me-up, why not order one of these lovely Mama Me boxes to send to them.
