My Favourite Movies | Blogtober 2016 | Me Becoming Mum

I have a few movies that I never tire of watching, over and over again. Here is a list of my top 10 movies:

  • Frozen
All I can say is it's a good job too... my daughter loves it and would watch it on repeat if given a chance.

  • Alice in Wonderland (Disney Classic)
I have yet to introduce my daughter to this amazing movie, as I'm not sure how she will react to the weird fantasy aspects. I love it though, so much so my 21st celebrations with my family were Mad Hatter tea party themed (topsy turvy birthday cake included) and I have a tattoo of it too!

  • Cinderella (Disney Classic)
This, for me, is timeless. R loves this one too, and has a Cinderella dress she insists on wearing when we watch it.

  • Star Wars
Note that I didn't select one... that is because I love all of them. If you're going to watch them, however, you have to watch them in order of release. It's not like it has spoilers these days!

  • Father of the Bride
I love this movie. The second one was not as great, but I have to say that the first one is one of my all time favourites.

  • Fast and Furious
Another title that I enjoyed all. The only one in the series I am not as keen on is Tokyo Drift. The latest one made me cry when we had to say goodbye to Paul Walker after his sad and unexpected death.

  • Legally Blonde
Just because it's easy to watch and a good laugh!

  • The Princess Diaries
Definitely a girly girl when it comes to some of the movies on my top ten list. I think every little girl wants to be a princess and I loved this movie!

  • Lord of the Rings
I loved the books, and the movies for me were up there with some of the best book adaptations I've watched. Besides, there is some serious eye candy in these movies!

  • Jurassic Park
Can't go wrong with a little fun. adventure, and dinosaurs!

So that's my top ten movies.

There are others that I will watch over and over again (Tangled, for example, is one that my little one will ask for, a lot!) but these are definitely some of my favourites.
