My Photo of the Week // Living Arrows 1/52

One of my goals in my Not Big or Fat Quiz of the Year post was to take part in more linkies... and so here it begins. The lovely Donna over at What the Redhead Said runs a weekly linkie to share photos of childhood, and so I thought it would be the perfect place for me to start!

I found it quite difficult to decide which photo to choose... I am one of those mums who takes pictures of everything. They may not be the best photos - although I am working on improving them - however I like to document every moment and every memory; so that I can print them and collate them in albums and scrapbooks for my girls to look back on in the future.

This week I decided that my photo of the week is the milestone shot I took of Little L.

Newborns can see only approximately eight to fifteen inches away so can only just about make out the face of the person holding them. Despite this, you can see Little L trying to view the world around her, and concentrating so hard as she listens to every sound (most of which are usually emanating from her fully charged and often slightly hyper older sister!)

That is why I love this photo. It was one of the first times I captured how alert she was becoming.
