“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
I still can't quite get over the fact that just one week after the terrible occurances in Manchester we are now dealing with the aftermath of a third terrorist attack in as many months.
For me it has become even more imperative to celebrate the good times with my family and remember there is good in humans (like the mini ones we are raising! ) and we need to raise our children to be the good in the world like the amazing first responders on Saturday night.
Today's post for Donna's Linkie is from early on last week when my brother came to visit. We made a trip to Ferry Meadows (which is a place that if you read my "Getting Outdoors at Ferry Meadows" post, you will know we love!) and enjoyed the glorious afternoon sunshine together.
Squidgy has always had an adventurous side, she loves to get outdoors and the Badger play area at Ferry Meadows is her favourite place to be. It's over 8ft in the air and I am amazed at how fearless she is when scaling the heights of the climbing frame, and how excited she is when she does it all on her own!
Little L is becoming so much more inquisitive and interested in everything around her. She loves the camera (although I am pretty sure that is simply because she wants to chew on it!) and is forever watching and laughing at her elder sister as she barrels around being her usual crazy self! I love this picture that captures those big eyes of wonder as she is trying to get to me!
