Living Arrows 27/53 | Me Becoming Mum

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

Kahlil Gibran

This week has been our first full week in our new home in Watford and we have been loving this beautiful weather we've been having; making the most of it and exploring places locally including the amazing adventure playground up the road.

Exploring Watford led us to discover two lovely local parks and one is just over five minutes walk from our home and both girls love it. Squidgy is completely fearless going all the way up to the top of some of the highest points of the adventure playground quicker than I would have thought possible.

She gave up on her shoes in the end though, a lot of the park is made up of sand pita for safe landing at the bottom of the slides and she decided that sand in her sandles was not a good thing; so simply took them off.

Pickle is fascinated by anything that makes noise and there is a whole section of Harwoods Adventure Playground that includes a variety of things you can use to make noise including these pipes. I'm pretty sure she likes both the colours and the sound.

She has also taken a keen interest in all things climbing and loves to explore the frames and bridges to see what she can find.

My Girls

Every time we have been to Harwoods it has been lovely and the girls have enjoyed themselves immensely. We have been so fortunate with the good weather and I can't wait until the next time we visit.

This week the weather is set to continue being beautiful, so I am sure there will be plenty of photos of us all enjoying it.

Psst... Did you see last week's #LivingArrows post? Check it out here.
