Living Arrows 41/52 | Me Becoming Mum

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

Kahlil Gibran

Squidgy was really unwell last week which meant she was off school, but we still were able to get some lovely photos of the girls.

Our next door neighbour knocked on the door a few days ago with a page from the Watford Observer. She said she recognised someone in it and we discovered Squidgy's first day of reception was captured and shared there!

My parents, youngest brother and sister-in-law came to visit on Saturday and took the girls to Rock Up in town to give me some time to work. Pickle disowned me, not even wanting to kiss me goodbye, in favour of her uncle!

My Girls

The two little ones I am raising are strong willed, independent and can really get on my nerves. However they are also fiercely loyal, loving and so gorgeous. Dealing with their petty arguments and epic tantrums is all worth it for moments like this.

Squidgy is back to school today and I'm so glad she's feeling better. Hopefully this week will be nice and uneventful, with some fun autumnal activities planned after school!

Psst... Did you see last week's #LivingArrows post? Check it out here.
