My Photo of the Week // Living Arrows 49/52

This past week has been a busy one for me. Not only have I had loads of work to do and posts to write but as we love head first into December we had to get our house up to scratch and ready for Christmas. Here are a couple of photos from our prep for this week's post for Donna's #LivingArrows linky.

You may have seen this photo in my 24 Alternative Advent Calendar Fillers post last week but I couldn't resist sharing it again. Squdigy was so happy that Belle our friendly elf brought her advent calendar back this year! Also... Doesn't she look amazing with pigtails?

Christmas Tree

Every year since John and I first celebrated Christmas together, we have had a theme... blue and white and silver... and that is because my hubby is an Everton fan. Since Squidgy came along and started adding handmade decorations and other goodies into the mix it's not as simple, so now we have a rainbow of colours instead.

This year as she was old enough to properly help with the decorating (and as I promised John I wouldn't rearrange the tree this time...) we got it sorted together. Once complete she was so proud and insisted that she and her sister have a photo with it to show everyone who wasn't in our house!
