My Photo of the Week // Living Arrows 8/52

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

This week I am taking a little break as I am organising lots of various trips out, visits to family and parties as my eldest daughter is turning three! I still thought I'd pop in with my photo(s) of the week for What the Redhead Said's Living Arrows Linkie, which were taken at the first of R's birthday parties, held at my paternal grandparents house on Saturday.

I couldn't choose between these two photos, so I have simply included both!

This first photo is of the twenty four members of the four generations of my paternal grandparent's family.

This was the first time we had all been together since I was seventeen (so almost nine years!) in an informal setting. The only other time was at my wedding, which was not really a 'normal' family get together!

This time we attended with myself being married with two children, one of my brothers engaged, another with a girlfriend and two of my cousins getting married this year. Certainly different to how things were all those years ago.

The second photo is of my brothers and me with our other halves and my two girls. As my hubby so wonderfully put it, the WAGs and kids. This caused many laughs, especially as I asked him which he was. I don't think he really thought it through!

They are such lovely photos, and make me super happy every time I see them!
