My Photo of the Week // Living Arrows 34/52

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

Kahlil Gibran

This week's photo for Donna's Living Arrows is from the day that we introduced Little L to one of John's old toys.

John's favourite childhood character was Tigger (who he still loves to this day!) and this Tigger is pretty awesome. Once we changed his batteries, not only did he sing but he bounced on his tail too!

Little L has taken a fancy to Tigger (probably somewhat due to the fact she is surrounded day and night by Winnie the Pooh characters!) and absolutely loved her daddy's singing, bouncing Tigger toy, even if she kept hugging him and knocking him over!

Me Becoming Mum's Newborn Baby "Must Haves"

Me Becoming Mum's Newborn Baby "Must Haves"

Obviously everyone knows that your baby is going to need nappies and clothes. It's also a given that you will need somewhere for them to sleep, as well as a car seat and a pushchair. However there are so many additional extras when you are shopping for your little one, that it is hard to know what is essential and what you can live without. So I have written my list of must haves for when your newborn arrives.

My Photo of the Week // Living Arrows 33/52

We had an interesting week last week... Squidgy decided to fully embrace being a threenager and if you saw my post on Instagram about her epic tantrum regarding the wrong plate at lunch time, you will understand what I'm talking about. Instead of sharing that fun photo for this week's Living Arrows I thought I would share a happier moment from our week.

Me Becoming Mum's Essentials for Cruising with Children

Me Becoming Mum's Essentials for Cruising with Children

After a fabulous couple of weeks on the Cunard Queen Elizabeth cruise ship, we have come away thinking that cruising is definitely the way forward for travelling abroad with children. There is so much available on board that it can be hard to know what to take with you for you and your children. I have written two posts to cover off everything you need to take with you. In the first post I listed my essentials for adults, and in this one I will be sharing the items you need for your children!

Queen Elizabeth Formal Nights

While on board the Cunard Queen Elizabeth there was a number of formal nights that we attended and each one saw my family and me dressed up to the nines and partying late into the night, even our girls were up past midnight. We had such a fabulous time and I had to share some memories of those evenings with you.

Today's post for Donna's Living Arrows linkie is one of my most loved photos to date of my toddler. Squidgy has always been very stubborn, and certainly knows her own mind. In that way she is very like me, which often means that we butt heads. Sometimes though, it can just be super cute, like in this photo.

Cruising the Baltic Sea on the Cunard Queen Elizabeth

If you follow me on social media, you will know that we were lucky enough to have the amazing opportunity to go on the stunning Queen Elizabeth cruise ship, for a trip around Europe via the Baltic Sea. It was an awesome experience, from the ship itself to the ports we visited and I just had to share with you a few of my favourite moments from our time on board.

Ten Happy Things

Ten Happy Things

I was tagged  (forever ago!) by the lovely Katie from Mummy's Diary, Two to Love to take part in the Ten Happy Things tag, and I have finally gotten around to writing my post! I am lucky to be able to say that there are a lot more than ten things in my life that make me happy, so whittling it down to just these ten was hard, but it's so love to look at this post and know that there are such wonderful people and things in my life.
