Welcome to the home of my family, lifestyle and travel blog; where I aim to keep it real about the truth of being a wife, business owner and stay-at-home mama.

Motherhood can be a very overwhelming and lonely experience. Social media often only shows the perfect, happy moments. It’s easy to forget that these are carefully selected and curated snapshots into someone's life.

I want to show every side of my parenthood journey. Here I share everything from milestones and happy memories to toddler tantrums and breakdowns. I hope that my little corner of the internet can - in some way - help you on your parenting journey.

About Me

My name is Naomi. I'm a 34 year old mama to three beautiful daughters and one gorgeous son.

From home, I run my blog alongside working as a freelance writer for a variety of clients. I also have my own business, creating handmade crochet gifts and keepsakes.

About my Husband

I have been with my husband John for seventeen years, and have been married to him since May 2011. He is my rock and supports me in all my endeavours; always by my side through thick and thin.

Without him, I would not be the woman I am today. He completes me and epitomises the true meaning of the phrase, "other half". Not only is he an awesome husband, but also the best daddy to our children!

John works as a retail manager for a large fashion company, a job that certainly keeps him busy. He is a Toffee (Everton supporter), a lover of all things cricket, including playing and watching it, plus he's the most amazing cook too.

About our Children

We are parents to three daughters and one son. We are also parents to our precious angel babies.

Squidgy

Squidgy is our first rainbow baby and joined our family in February 2014.

Squidgy loves giraffes and red pandas, and is the most loving, precious girl, wise beyond her years and a massive healing to me in so many ways. I can't believe she started at secondary school this, and cannot begin to explain how proud we are of all the things she has achieved so far.

Pickle

Pickle is our second rainbow baby and joined our family in December 2016.

Pickle is a personality filled, penguin and flamingo lover, who loves books and being outside, whatever the weather! She's loud, and chaotic, and loves people, bringing joy, love, and laughter everywhere she goes.

Munchkin

Munchkin is our third rainbow baby and joined our family in February 2020.

Munchkin has the cheekiest of natures, but is so cute with it, he more often than not gets away with everything. He loves to climb, and explore, and be outside, especially if a playground is involved. He recently started “big school” and is thriving.

Peanut

Peanut is our surprise golden baby, who was born in July 2021, arriving three weeks early!

She is a wonderful, remarkably clever little girl, who we all adore. Her favourite thing in the world is a playground swing! Over the years she's had her fair share of challenges with her hearing and development, but we are doing all we can to support her. With input from specialised services, we are finally seeing some progress and we are so proud of the amazing little girl she is becoming.

Jessie

Jessie is our beautiful American Bulldog Staffie cross. Born at a local charity just two days before Squidgy's birthday, this gorgeous girl joined our family in May 2025 and has been the best addition to our lives. She's definitely a mama’s girl and despite no longer being a tiny puppy still thinks she's a lap dog.

Honey

Adopting one rescue wasn't enough for our family of six, so in the summer of 2025 we went back to the charity to pick up the latest addition to our family… Honey. This gorgeous beagle pup is loud and loveable, and has settled right into the chaos barks and all. Picking John as her human, this little pup has stolen our hearts and I'm so glad she's part of our rather large family.
