My girls love to get dressed up and thanks to my parents they have a pretty good dressing up box already; and now they both have beautiful new outfits from Vegaoo now to add to their collection!Read More
As a 90s baby, I was born into a generation that grew up with technology playing a massive part in our lives; from home to school to work. Without it, the world was such a different place, and with it there are so many possibilities. As a blogger, technology (especially my phone) plays a massive part in my ability to work, communicate with my followers and of course try out new and exciting products.
I recently invested in a Samsung Galaxy S8 which has been one of the best phones I have ever had the pleasure of using, and so when Mobile Fun asked if I wanted to test out some of their accessories for my new phone I jumped at the opportunity. Their site is filed with everything you could need or want to accessorise your phone, from spare charging cables to fitness accessories to the perfect case and screen protector. Here are my thoughts on just a few of the awesome range they have available online.
When it comes to your phone, there is no such thing as too safe. As a blogger who often has her phone out and in use this is especially important to me. Furthermore if you have children running about the place and "accidentally" knocking things over and breaking things; you are so much more careful to protect anything expensive or special to you... and let's be honest our phones are both of these things!
Wireless Charging Stand
Have you met the amazing world of wireless chargers? I hadn't until recently, but I wish I had known about these sooner. They are absolutely amazing.
I love that the variety of accessories available at Mobile Fun means you can choose from the official branded accessories and a selection of budget friendly third party options too, in their Qi wireless charger range.
Disclaimer: The team at Mobile Fun sent me a selection of their accessories (indicated by the use of an asterisk*) in return for an honest review. The review words and opinions are my own. All photos are copyright property of Me Becoming Mum.
One thing that we haven't really had for Little L since she was a baby was some form of vibrating or rocking seat, some thing that we had for Squidgy but never really got around to using with Little L as we gave her big sister's one to a friend who needed one. When I was offered the chance to try out Fisher Price's new infant to toddler rocker, I jumped at it. Even though she may not be a baby anymore, I knew that she would still get plenty of use out of it!Read More
When it came to Christening Little L, we had to make sure that everything was perfect, just as it was for her big sister 3 years ago. If you read my post about her Christening you will already know that we had a near perfect day, and one way this was made possible was with the amazing Christening gown from Roco Clothing.Read More
One of the most important things when you start weaning your baby is knowing that the food that you're providing them with is both nutritional and junk free. Obviously it helps if it tastes good too. The easiest way to do that is to make your own food from fresh, which is exactly what I did with Squidgy. This time around it is not as easy to find the time to cook and prepare fresh food every day, so although I am doing some meals this way, I wanted to have a back up plan. That's where pouches and jars of baby food came in.Read More
If you read my "Newborn Baby Must Haves" post you will know that we bought and fell in love with the Sleepyhead Deluxe. As Little L has grown in age and height, she has slowly but surely outgrown the Deluxe, something that I was very sad to see as it has made a massive difference to how well she sleeps at night. Then I realised that there was another one, a larger one, the Sleepyhead Grand. Now that she has the next size up, all is well again!Read More
I have always loved to bake, and Squidgy is forever asking to "help" in the kitchen, despite the fact that for a long time she has been too small to do anything except make a mess. Now that she is a little older, I decided that she was more capable of actually being a help rather than hindrance, and so when we had the opportunity to try out the cookie kit from What2Buy4Kids, it was a no brainer that we would get our bake on.Read More
When we went on our cruise we knew that we would be spending a lot of time walking around both the ship itself and the ports that we were visiting. Although we took a stroller for Squidgy and our Doona for Little L, there was plenty of times when we didn't use one or both of them, and ultimately this resulted in us needing to carry our children on our hips. Having the Hippychick made this so much easier, and here is why we love it.Read More
When we knew that we would be travelling abroad with our little family, my husband and I began racking our brains to think of everything that we would need to ensure a safe and relaxing holiday for all of us. I am a list person, so I began creating lists to cover every possible thing that we would need. This included a changing bag that would be easy to use and carry.Read More
When my friend and I took a trip to London with my two girls in tow, to attend the Baby Show at the ExCel arena a short while ago, little did I know, I would end up falling in love with some new brands I had never come across before, including the awesome Elizabeth Brown Maternity who offer a range of maternity and nursing clothing from teeny sizes to plus sizes.Read More
Every body knows I love to share pictures of my two beautiful girls on social media, and I find its a fantastic way for pepole (including myself) to see them grow and change over time. Instagram has become a big part of this, and I love it as a place to share as well as find some awesome businesses just like Gigi Loves Blake.Read More
You may remember that I reviewed the Gro Clock that Squidgy got for Christmas a short while ago, and told of how well it had worked for us when it came to keeping her in her own room at night, rather than appearing at my bedside at some silly hour in the morning. I'm not going to lie, it all was going really well until the clocks changed. Then things took a bit of a back step, as the nights got shorter and the days longer, and so we have had to add to our Gro collection with our new Gro Anywhere Blinds.Read More
Swaddling Little L has been one of the only ways that we have been able to get her to settle at night, especially since she began cutting teeth. She can get in a complete state and just wants to be held, and swaddling has been a great comfort to her. I was worried about how we were going to continue to offer this comfort as the weather began to warm up, that is until we were offered the ergoCocoon Swaddle Sleepbag.Read More
Here's the thing. I'm pretty sure all of us, at some point in our lives, have caught those dreaded little bugs we call, "head lice". They are annoying, itchy and as hard to get rid of as they are easy to catch. With my daughter now in pre school and heading towards the age of starting, "proper" school, it suddenly dawned on me that at some point we're likely to get that letter. I wasn't expecting it to come soon though.Read More
