Peanut's Maternity Photoshoot | Pregnancy Memories

Between 2016 to 2020 I wrote and shared three maternity photoshoot blog posts - one for Squidgy, Pickle and Munchkin. Now, in 2021, I've done the same for Peanut - our surprise golden baby who is due in just a few weeks time. Scroll down to check out the beautiful photos we were able to take on the lakeshore of Bassenthwaite Lake in our Cumbrian backyard.

Just as we did for Munchkin, we headed out for a drive to Bassenthwaite, set up my tripod and took some lovely photos of the five of us with little Peanut bump. With John only having a handful of days off now before my due date, this could be the last photos we have before becoming a family of six.

As with our other three children, we of course had to make sure we took a handful of photos as a couple - and I’m glad we did. We even recreated a couple we had taken for Peanut's older siblings!

The girls loved being involved with taking pictures for their baby sister. Both of them are so excited about her imminent arrival, and wanted to be able to have their own photos with the bump like daddy did.

With the recent stunning weather - and the days out that we've been doing to help me get a bit of exercise in to help my health - we've actually taken a lot of beautiful photos as a family this time round and have more than just the 30+ maternity photoshoot ones!

I love having all the memories from my pregnancies. They act as a record to show our children in the future. These moments captured in time are always so precious, but this time they hold a little bittersweet note; as Peanut is likely to be our last.

So, there we go! Now you've seen a few of our lovely photos and shared in these precious last pregnancy memories with us. Now it's just the countdown to our baby girl joining us in the world at last.
