My 2023 | My Year Review

I wanted 2023 to be the best year yet, but sadly that was not the case. My mental health took a dive, and it has taken me a long time to crawl back from the hole I ended up in. That being said, there have been some amazing and beautiful highlights this year, and it would be remiss of me to not celebrate those moments with you.

A visit to Santa

This year we were invited by the lovely team at Honister to visit their Ho-Ho-Honister Santa's Secret Underground Grotto. We loved it, and if you want to know more, why not have a read of the blog post about our trip here.

My Year in Books

This year I downloaded Goodreads for the first time. Reading books (or in some cases listening to audiobooks) has been so good for my mental health. I set myself a somewhat extraordinary 150 book goal for the year, and despite not quite making it, I am pleased that I read and listened to a total of 131. I think that's pretty impressive.

Finally, my highlight reel

This year I wanted to celebrate the wins in spite of the battles, and I shared a short reel made up of videos of the year's highlights. I love it (even if it made me cry) and it's only fitting that I end this post by sharing it with you.

So, there you go. 2023 may have come with some serious challenges, but I am so proud of how far I've come and all I achieved. There were some really wonderful memories this year, and I hope you enjoyed this trip down memory lane.
