When it came to Christening Little L, we had to make sure that everything was perfect, just as it was for her big sister 3 years ago. We had a near perfect day, and one way this was made possible was with the amazing Christening gown from Roco Clothing.
I loved dressing Little L up on the day, and making sure she looked as perfect as possible for such a special occasion. She has such a beautiful smile and it was so lovely to see her enjoying herself and loving being the center of attention on the day. Of course wearing such an amazing Christening gown like this one from Roco Clothing is one thing, but wearing a smile just makes the whole outfit complete! I think seeing her beaming face actually makes the gown look even better than it does on its own, which of course it definitely did.
I think my favourite part of the Roco Clothing Christening gown had to be the skirt. For me the length and layers were exactly what I see in my mind when people talk about this type of dress. We were lucky (in a way) that the weather was not that nice, despite the fact that we held the Christening towards the end of summer. The fact that it was cool meant that we didn't have to worry about Little L being tucked up inside all those layers. She certainly enjoyed being in the gown, and even gave crawling away when we did the photos in Church a good go!
As with a number of Roco Clothing's Christening gowns, this one was covered in the most beautiful appliques, sequins, beads and pearls. The floral swirls were placed in a wonderful pattern across the bodice and around the bottom of the skirt, as well as a few scattered across the body of the skirt material. Combine these gorgeous appliques and patterns with layers of silk and tulle and some gorgeous puff sleeves and you have a perfect attention grabbing gown for any little one's special day.
