Valentine's Day is not the first celebration of the year for John and me, with birthdays to celebrate in January. That doesn't mean it's not a great excuse to find a gift or two and spend some time as a couple (something I think is especially important once you have children!). A romantic getaway
There is nothing more special than being able to have a bit of time away, just the two of you. This is particularly true for those of us that have children. John and I made a pact last year to make more time for "just us" starting with me taking him away for the weekend.
