In our home, Father Christmas brings stocking fillers rather than expensive gifts, to make it fair for everyone. That doesn't mean, however, that he doesn't need an idea or two for what to bring. Here are my top picks for stocking fillers for her this Christmas.
True love is like a pair of socks; you’ve got to have two, and they have to match.
I love me a comfy, soft pair of socks and they always make a great gift. It may be a bit cliche to assume that socks are a gift that works well for any occasion but despite popular opinion I do love a pair of socks or two in my stocking. There are so many different types available on the market, from fancy socks to character socks to fluffy slipper socks so you will always be able to find something well suited to the lady in your life.
I only drink twice a year: on my birthday, and when it’s not my birthday.
Bursting bubbles drinking treat
Soak away your troubles in a bath full of bubbles.
Bath bubbles and fizzers
Is there anything better than a hot bath full of bubbles? With two little girls who love baths it isn’t very often I get to enjoy a solo soak anymore but that doesn’t mean I enjoy them any less. My favourite bath bubbles have to be the range by Radox (which is also a great, budget friendly stocking filler idea!) but bubble bath isn’t the only thing I enjoy on those rare occasions I get to enjoy a long relaxing bath. Joules not only do fabulous clothing but I also got some of their amazing Joules bath fizzers for Christmas last year which are fantastic! They are on sale on their website at the moment so grab a bargain for your leading lady’s stocking this year!
Be your own kind of beautiful.
They may not be the most glamorous of Christmas gifts but a lush face mask has always been a perfect stocking filler for her in my mind. John works at Primark and always sees when the new ones come in and makes sure to buy any that I haven’t tried yet for my Christmas stocking each year. They are easy to use, cheap to buy and always leave my skin feeling fresh and fab-u-lous.
Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself.
I found a favourite hand cream in the form of Sanctuary Spa’s hand creams and John bought me a stash of them for Christmas a couple of years ago which I am almost out of (take note John, I need some more this year!) There are so many reasons I love this product from the smell that reminds me of post bath relaxing when I was pregnant with Pickle to the way it makes my skin feel so soft. Without a shadow of a doubt I know this is a perfect stocking filler for her.
Always be yourself, unless you can be a unicorn. Then always be a unicorn.
Happiness is a hot drink on a cold day.
I love a steaming cup of hot chocolate, and while Costa is my favourite place to get one I'm also happy with a mug at home (as long as I can add some cream and marshmallows to the top! In my opinion there is no better Christmas stocking filler than a nice, unique mug to fill with your favourite yummy hot drink.
I hope this post has given you (and Santa!) some perfect Christmas stocking filler ideas for her. With the countdown to Christmas really beginning now, be sure to get those stocking fillers bought and ready!
Wishing you a very Happy Christmas from my family and me this year!
