It's A… | Pickle's Gender Reveal

Reaching the 20 week scan (also known as an anomaly scan) is always an exciting milestone. You are merely 4 weeks from the date of viability, as well as having the opportunity to find out whether you're expecting a boy or a girl. We have just seen Pickle once again, and here is the big reveal!

Why did we choose to find out?

Whether you choose to find out whether your new baby is a boy or a girl can often lead to much debate. For us, it was a lot more simple this time around. We already had a daughter, and as we had kept Squidgy's old clothes and other baby items, we wanted to know so we could be prepared. So just as with this pink booties announcement for Squidgy, we decided to share Pickle's gender announcement too.

So, what are we having?

Pickle was living up to the nickname end almost didnt let the sonographer find out if we are having a little boy or a little girl. Eventually we got the answer we were looking for. Now, with a little help from Squidgy, we can announce…

It's a girl!

John's gender reveal

Although I wanted to do the hand print reveal, Squidgy and daddy wanted cake. So here's the confetti cake I made for John to share his reveal of our new baby girl.

We are all so happy, especially Squidgy who can't wait to have a baby sister. Now we begin all the preparations, sorting through all Squidgy's old clothes and getting those little pink outfits ready for the arrival of our newest family member!
