I recently had the opportunity to work with Rubin Extensions and I am so excited to share my thoughts with you. My main thought? Even mamas - pregnant or otherwise - deserve to look and feel fantastic. I think as an accessory, Rubin Extensions’ hair extensions go a long way to help mamas like me do just that.

What did I choose?

I decided that for ease of use, the clip-on extensions were likely to be the best choice for me. Ultimately, although I think they are a great way to help mamas like me look and feel great; we don't always have bags of time for getting ready in the morning. The Deluxe Line salty caramel hair extensions were the best fit for my hair colour, and so I decided to go for those.

Why do I love my Rubin extensions?

They match my natural hair fabulously

As you can see below where I separated my own hair from the extensions for the photo, the only way you can tell the difference is because my hair is shorter! I was amazed at the colour match. Having previously had extensions where it was obvious I was wearing them, these look so natural! Once styled properly into my hair, it just looks like I have layers cut into my hair, rather than my hair and extensions.

You can treat (and style) them just like your own hair

The last thing you want is more work to do when you're a parent. Luckily, Rubin Extensions' hair extensions are made from real, human hair. This means that however you would treat or style your own hair, you can do the same to your new extensions. I have straightened, curled and even tied mine back! Super easy to clip in, super quick and easy to style, and pretty much just perfect for mums with a little less time on their hands than they'd like.

They look beautiful

I absolutely love how the extensions look and feel when they are in my hair. Here are a few reasons why:

They are light enough to not feel like I’m wearing a whole wig.
You don't even notice the clips are holding the hair in (unless you get an itch and catch the top edge of them!)
Thanks to matching my hair colour so well, they seamlessly flow with my own hair making it unnoticeable that I’m wearing them.
The length is just right. I love having long hair, and these extensions are the perfect length to add a little extra to my own hair without making it look unnatural.
